Well done to visiting Professor and Marie Curie Recipient Aurelie Van Hoye who was invited to speak at the EU Sport Forum which took place in Stockholm, Sweden on 2nd and 3rd May 2023. Aurelie was part of an expert panel on ‘Physical Activity Policy for a Better Health’.
This year’s Forum looked into some of the most topical issues in the sport sector, with a particular focus on integrity, good governance and gender equality. The Forum also addressed the sustainability of major sporting events, the importance of sport for physical and mental health, as well as how to best support athletes in the development of skills and qualifications during and after their sport careers.
