Nowadays, nobody doubts physical inactivity is one of the biggest public health problems of the 21st century, at the same time that everyone knows many of the health-related physical activity benefits.

However, we are trying to research the best exercise programme, the cost-effective exercise initiative or action plan, as well as what theoretical model or statistical methods can explain better their implementation, as well as if the mission is by a health or exercise professional and it can be treated as personal, interpersonal, organizational, community or policy problem. It remembers me when years ago people said that the main obesity problem was more related to nutritional than physical activity patterns, among others factors, until the “Obesity System Influence Diagram” said it is a multi-factorial problem difficult to resolve to date.

From my humble point of view, we need the help of a worldwide multi or interdisciplinary team for each dimension of a theoretical model (e.g. socioecological model) to promote physical activity in different contexts (e.g. Schools, Healthcare settings, Business, etc..) trying to resolve this multi-factorial public health problem.

Finally, please, let's remember that the best exercise is that people do, and any movement counts toward improving the health-related physical activity benefits and quality of life of people in their particular context.
