The PEPAYS Ireland Forum 2025 Scientific Committee is delighted to launch the call for abstracts for Forum 2025.

The deadline for abstract submission via the link or QR code below is Friday, April 4th.

Please note the norms for abstract submissions up to 2000 characters (around 300 to 350 words).

By submitting the abstract you agree and confirm that:

If your abstract is accepted, the presenting author will register and attend the Forum;

If you have not registered by the final date, your abstract will have to be removed from the Forum Programme;

Your abstract contains original material neither published nor presented elsewhere before the Forum.  If this is not the case, disclosure of previous publication/presentation information is required.

Submission dates:

The deadline for submission is the 11th of April 2025.

Types of Presentation:

- Seminar: This format allows for a flexible proposal including multiple authors within a specific topic of the Forum; 30 minutes - 1 hour; please feel free to email conorphilpott@ucc.ie and joao.mota@ucc.ie to discuss your proposal before submission.

- Oral presentation: 10-minute oral presentation, slotted alongside similar-themed oral presentation within a parallel session of the Forum;

- Poster presentation: A0 portrait poster presentation taking place during the walking lunch and displayed throughout the day. All posters must be submitted in advance of the conference in their digital form. Presenters are responsible for printing the posters and further details will be provided on acceptance.

Forum topics:

- Including all People;

- The Role and Impact of Technology;

- Policy to Practice Alignment;

- Experiential Learning;

- Other topics which align with PEPAYS Ireland are welcomed, and will be reviewed.

Notification of acceptance:

You will be notified via email of acceptance of your abstract by the 16th of May 2025. Accepted abstracts can be corrected for one week following acceptance. Any further relevant information will be sent via email to the presenting author.

Changes in presenting author:

The presenting author listed in this submission is responsible for delivering the correspondent presentation if its abstract is accepted. If said author is unable to attend the Forum, one of the co-authors may take their place. The new presenter must be listed in the co-author list and be registered for the Forum.
