UL has been ranked
- 55th in the world for Environmental Sustainability,
- 51st for Equality
- 38th for Governance.
Each performance category comprises distinct indicators. Equality criteria included considering UL's performance in research against SDG Goal 5, % of women in senior leadership roles, staff's perception of UL's support for equality on gender, LGBT+ and disability grounds as well as faculty gender ratios.
