Speak Out report

University of Limerick's Speak Out report highlights data from a tool designed to help students, staff, and visitors report harassment, discrimination, and violence.

In its first year, 37 reports were logged, with most incidents involving students and centered on bullying, harassment, and sexual assault.

The report underscores the need for increased visibility of reporting options, expanded bystander intervention training, and a commitment to a safer campus environment.

Gender Pay Gap Report

University of Limerick's 2023 Gender Pay Gap report reveals a mean hourly pay gap of 11.5% and a median of 11%, mainly due to gender concentration in certain roles and fewer women in senior academic positions.

Actions to address these gaps include advancing female representation at senior levels and embedding gender equality, as outlined in the Athena Swan framework.

The report highlights specific priorities like flexible work, data-driven decision-making, and career development to promote gender equity across the university​.

Annual progress report

The HREDI Annual Progress Report 2023 outlines University of Limerick’s Human Rights Equality Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (2023–2027). 

This strategy emphasizes five values: social justice, empowerment, inclusivity, agency, and respect. It integrates assessments, action plans, and reporting under the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission's framework.
