Staff policy
- Alleged incident occurs
- Contact Maria Healy, Sexual Violence and Harassment (SVH) Prevention and Response Manager
- Complaint form completed and submitted to screening panel. SVH Prevention and Response Manager informs respondent of complaint and supports available
- Screening panel assesses complaint form
- SVH Prevention and Response Manager informs both complainant and respondent of screening panel decision
If the complaint falls within scope
- SVH Prevention and Response Manager forwards complaint and decision of screening panel to Director of HR.
- Investigator appointed and formal investigation begins
- Investigation concludes and allegations are confirmed
- Director of HR will inform both parties of the outcome and will determine appropriate action to be taken
- Option to appeal
If the complaint does not fall within scope
- SVH Prevention and Response Manager advises complainant of next possible steps and supports are signposted
- Investigation concludes, allegations not confirmed
- In exceptional circumstances there will be consequences for complainant if allegations are believed to be malicious
- Option to appeal
