The next AHSS PhD Development Session is on ‘Research Ethics and Integrity’. This seminar will take place on Wednesday, 4 October 2023 at 11:00am in the Kate O’Brien Room (C1-079). It will be a hybrid session, you can also join on MS Teams. Our speaker, Dr. Brona Murphy, will introduce and explore the concept of research ethics and integrity within the context of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at UL. The first part of the workshop will look at the theory that informs our ethics’ practice which we will draw on to discuss practical ethics-related scenarios in research. The second part will focus on how to prepare for submitting an application as well as how to complete the UL ethics application form. There will be space, throughout and at the end, for Q&A.
