Marty Barry and Conal O'Kane met in the Irish World Academy, where they both graduated from the BA in Irish Music and Dance. They have become two of the most highly regarded accompanists in the tradition, with Marty primarily touring the world with the Friel Sisters, and Conal with the band Goitse. As promotion for Conor Casey’s guitars, they recorded together and found that they clicked as a duet. Together, they have recorded an album of traditional tunes played on two guitars, one of very few albums of its type.
