The next AHSS PhD Development Session is on ‘Interviewing Techniques’. This seminar will take place on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 at 10:00am in the Kate O’Brien Room, C Corridor, Main Building (C1-079). 

The workshop will be given by Dr. Erika Marcet,MLAL. The topic is Interviewing Techniques. In this workshop, you will learn about different interviewing styles and techniques to collect and analyse qualitative data. The focus will be on semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions. By the end of the workshop, students will be able to understand what makes a good interviewer, how to construct an interview guide and how to build rapport with participants.
