On Thursday, 18th of April, Dr Susan Leahy, Director of the Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies, co-hosted a webinar, with her colleague, Dr Eithne Dowds, Queen’s University Belfast. Susan and Eithne are co-founders of the All-Ireland Network on Sexual Violence Research (AINSVR), which was established in January of this year. The network brings together academics and stakeholders who research and work in the area of sexual violence in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. There are over 100 members of the network, including over 40 academic researchers from a variety of disciplines. This webinar was the first online event for the network and focused on ’10 years of the Istanbul Convention’. The webinar was delivered by Ellen O’Malley Dunlop, Vice-President of the Grevio Committee and Adjunct Professor at the School of Law, University of Limerick.
