The aim of the initiative is to:

  • Connect students with a range of supports and services: We collaborate with colleagues from various departments within the University to showcase, create awareness and connect students with a range of supports and services.

  • Build communities: Coffee and Chats is a fantastic opportunity to build communities, make friendships, and enhance the student experience by establishing and broadening connections with peers and UL staff.

  • Create awareness of the Student Engagement and Support Officers and Student Financial Advisor roles.

  • Promote Teach Fáilte as a safe and welcoming space for students to unwind over a cuppa, use the microwave at lunchtimes and, importantly, highlight the pastoral roles of the Chaplains.
