In November 2023, the School of Architecture and Product Design was honored with the Athena Swan Bronze Award, recognising its commitment to advancing gender equality within higher education. This accolade reflects the school's dedication to creating an inclusive environment that supports the progression and success of all genders. The Bronze Award acknowledges the institution's awareness of gender equality issues, the identification of specific challenges, and the development of a strategic plan for future improvements. This achievement aligns the school with other institutions that have been recognised for their efforts in promoting gender equality in academia.
