Roots Rewilding Kit

In Ireland, both a national climate and biodiversity emergency have been declared. Biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse are among the top three economic risks over the next decade-a clear warning that the well-being of future generations rests on how we respond to the biodiversity crisis in the next few years. In today’s world, childhood has moved indoors. On average, children spend up to 44 hours per week in front of a screen, and less than 10 minutes a day playing outdoors. Regular time outdoors helps children thrive and develop important life skills. I have designed a rewilding kit for children which nurtures the curious relationship between kids and nature. It is a fun way for children to improve their environment and add their own splash of green, while learning through doing.
