TAPA Helmet

Having played hurling myself, I’ve come to regard the helmet as an old-fashioned and uncomfortable necessity that begs for modernisation. Both male and female players often endure the sensation of their heads being tightly compressed within these helmets, extreme sweating, and not to mention the risk of serious injuries due to the outdated design. Introducing the TAPA hurling helmet – a revolutionary new design tailored specifically for the player. The TAPA helmet boasts a suite of advanced features, including enhanced ear and jaw protection, customisable fit for various head sizes, a ventilated chin guard, and a more breathable shell. But what does TAPA signify? Derived from the Irish word for fast, it hints at the lightening pace of hurling, known as the fastest field game, globally. In essence, the TAPA helmet isn’t just about innovation; it’s about elevating the game, prioritizing player safety, and enhancing the overall player experience.
