Learning something new isn’t always easy, but learning music should be, especially for those with visual learning difficulties like Dyslexia, Dysmusia, and Dysgraphia. My product aims to address this with three key focuses: sight, sound, and sensation. A projector displays a note spectrum in front of the user, providing a visual reference. Hand movements alter amplitude, pitch and volume along the XYZ axis, aiding note discrimination. Haptic sensors in the glove provide feedback based on note frequency and volume, enhancing the user’s connection to the music. Gesture recognition adds depth by allowing users to mute one hand for complexity and raise a note a step with a finger point gesture, expanding musical possibilities.
