The Structured PhD programme comprises advanced education, training and research focused on an identified area of study.
Students can register on a full-time or part-time basis. The research project will be sited within one of the Faculty’s six Schools / Departments of your choice. In addition, students will take three core taught modules. The taught elements will be shared across the Faculty, maximising learning opportunities for the students. It will promote a sharing of expertise and experience, which will lead to high-quality translational research in accordance with the faculty mission to advance the well-being of people. Students may take modules in quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods research methodology. The programme offers a variety of exemplar pathways including an Education Pathway for PhD candidates specialising in the area of Education.
