Can you attend part-time?

Students on the above programmes attend on a blended basis - that means that some lectures are delivered in-person and others are delivered online. They have been designed to suit working practitioners.

Do I have to commit to two years?

It is possible to exit the two year programmes after successful completion of Year 1 and gain a Graduate Diploma. This provides the academic qualifications required to be considered eligible for clinical nurse specialist posts. The MSc award is open to students who successfully complete year 2. The Master award provides you with the academic qualifications required to be considered eligible for advanced practice posts.

Do you have any short courses to help me upskill?

Nurses and midwives can enroll on short, accredited courses called Microcredentials. Micro-creds are often single modules within a larger further award (eg. Certificate, Diploma, Masters). By taking this micro-credential you may be eligible to apply for a credit exemption should you progress to study for a further award. Find out more here.
