Denise Roche joined the Department of Psychology as our department administrator in March 2008. Denise has been with the University since 2005 where she worked in the Finance Division and also in the School of Allied Health as an administrator. Denise graduated from the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick in 2012 with a B.A. (Hons) in Human Resource Management and again in 2020 with a MSc. in Project and Programme Management. 

As part of her MSc research paper “Barriers and Enablers to Knowledge-Sharing Among Professional Support Staff in Higher Education Institutions” it was found that over 90% of survey respondents wanted the opportunity to join or be part of a community of practice to share knowledge with like-minded people.  UL Evolve Community of Practice was founded in December 2021 Click here to view the introductory video for UL Evolve Community of Practice

In June 2024 Denise was awarded a President's Staff Excellence for her "Contribution to the Campus Community" by Professor Shane Kilcommins.
