Our Higher Education Grand Challenges are derived from the four key areas of a Sustainable University: Governance; Economy; Society; and Planet.
They are outcome-driven, while remaining at the scale of societal-wide issues. This framing sets the stage for satisfying the most important step in addressing society’s wicked problems: to envision a preferable future that we wish to transition towards. Without this vision, there is no tangible state to measure the impact of interventions being made in the present.
