By the end of your placement you should be able to:

  • Recognise the skills and knowledge you have developed through your co-op experience.
  • Identify gaps in your skills/knowledge and plan ahead to bridge these gaps.
  • Provide a record of your work experience and skills as evidence for effective job applications and, in some instances, professional recognition.

In order to track the skills you developed during your placement you are required to complete a Post-Placement skills assessment form.

This form measures the skills and competencies acquired during placement and is a vital part of the formal assessment of the Cooperative Education programme.
