This micro-credential represents a single module within a larger further award (eg. Certificate, Diploma, Masters). Most of employees are now experiencing remote working due to the recent pandemic. Furthermore, technology enables both employees and their employers to avail of the benefits of remote working even after terminating the current outbreak. But one of the important pre-requirements of taking the advantage of this great remote working opportunity is knowing how to do it both safely and productively. There are a number of psychological, technical, and managerial tips and techniques which need to be considered When employees what to remotely work.
One of the main underlying theories of this module is Kolb's experiential learning theory which helps people to learn while doing their jobs. This learning helps people to do not repeat their previous mistakes and unproductive efforts while they are remotely working. Employers and industries can expect healthier and more productive remote workers once their employees are enriched with these learning outcomes. While the main objective of this module is to help people to know how to safely and productively, work from distance; the provided theories, models, and techniques can help them to be more successful in their face-to-face working environment as well.
On the successful completion of this module participants will be:
• Knowledgeable in the key principles, theories, and techniques of safe and productive remote working.
• Creative in designing and implementing innovative approaches in their own remote working.
• Collaborative in working with their colleagues and friends in the cyberspace.
• Articulate in disseminating the standard procedures and principles of healthy and productive remote working.
Assessment: There is no final exam for this module. You will be assessed through continuous skill-based assignments, provided by your lecturer and tutor.
A minimum Level 7 qualification. Where an applicant does not meet the entry requirements, they can be evaluated under the UL RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) policy and may be interviewed to ascertain their suitability for the programme.
The fee for this programme is €600
