The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Limerick is hosting an online seminar, A Conversation with EDI Leaders in UL, on 16th February, 1.00pm-2.30pm. The panel discussion will be preceded by the official launch of the new Graduate Certificate in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The event will provide a platform for discussion of a range of initiatives in the broad field of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) that have been championed by UL staff and students.
Speakers on the day will include:
- Sandrine Ndahiro and Catherine Osikoya on their documentary Unsilencing Black Voices.
- Dr Marie Connolly, Head of Equality and Diversity, Human Resources Division on gender equality initiatives at UL.
- Dr Cristiano Storni on the Autism@UL Special Interest Group
- Peadar Collins, UL Student Welfare Officer, on the Speak for 15 campaign and other Student Life initiatives.
