Gambling and Gaming awareness: how to avoid possible problems

 Brief Description of Workshop Event/Activity

Gambling and gaming are common activities amongst all age groups in Ireland and can be a source of enjoyment and fun. For some people, they can lead to financial and health problems for the person and their family/significant others.

In this session, based on the most up-to-date research, we will look at the most recent Irish data, how to self-screen for possible problems, and tools to reduce gambling-related harm, including digital means of protection.

We will finish up with signposting to local and national support services. We need to reduce the stigma around looking for help!
