There are two avenues to apply for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence (online)
Enter the Masters in September
Before guaranteed entry onto the Masters Programme, students must first complete the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence. The Certificate runs as part of the first semester September to December
Successful completion of the preparatory course will lead to the award of a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence by UL, and a 2nd class honours level must be achieved to enter the Masters in January.
Funding & How to apply for September:
The programme is supported by Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet, which means it is substantially funded for applicants who are in full time employment. Funded places are limited and are offered on a first-come first-served basis.
To assess if you are eligible for funding, applications must first go through Skillnet. To apply, please email info@ictskillnet.ie If you are approved for funding, ICT Skillnet will provide you with a UL link to apply for the preparatory programme, the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence once applications open.
Not Eligible for Funding?
You can apply for a place on the programme as fee-paying student starting in September. For further information please contact the programme administrator Mags Dunne at mags.dunne@ul.ie who will provide you with a UL link to apply.
Enter the Masters in January
There is an option to enter the Masters in January if you have already completed the Certificate in AI or if you satisfy suitable criteria. Contact programme administrator Mags Dunne mags.dunne@ul.ie for further information.
