Bringing together Cancer Researchers and Clinicians

The Health Sciences Academy hosted a workshop event on Saturday 18th January 2020. The theme of this event was “Bringing together Cancer Researchers and Clinicians”.

This was hugely successful from a networking perspective, bringing together clinicians from UL Hospitals Group and researchers from University of Limerick. Each attendee provided 3 minute presentation to introduce themselves, their areas of clinical interest and areas of research interest- past, present, future.

This ‘Mix & Mingle’ event between attendees identified areas of common interest between UL and ULHG, helping inform future research collaboration and clinical practice integration.
