The Information Technology Division is the central IT services function at UL. We are responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing the information and communications technology of the University as set out in the University's strategic plan UL@50. Our customers comprise all members of the UL community, including staff, students, faculty, support departments and researchers. This guide is designed to introduce the key IT services available and help you get started using IT at UL. How do I raise a support request?
Log a call to the Service Desk using ITD’s call management system -TOPdesk or email service.desk@ul.ie with your query.
Getting Connected
Your digital user account is automatically provided. All staff receive an email to their personal email address with account details on their employment date.
As part of the login process, all staff must register for Self-Service Password Reset and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). See more information under the Password Management tile.
Academic and Administrative Services
