Our research
Professor Joanna Zukowska is the Gdansk Tech lead of the IMPAQT project specialising in integrated transportation systems. Dr. Eng. Wojciech Kustra is a researcher specialising in transportation safety and traffic modelling. Dr Eng. Joanna Wachnicka and Anna Gobis, M.Sc. Eng. are researchers focused on active mobility and road safety analysis.
Our IMPAQT team
As members are part of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering - Department of Transportation Engineering which is one of the oldest Departments of Gdansk University of Technology. Traffic Engineering Scientific Team conducts research in the field of transportation, traffic modelling, road safety and mobility. The strength of our research is its high applicability. We work closely with Polish government and local government organizations. We are also very active in applying for EU funds for networking and implementation of research and educational projects in many European countries. Recently, in the spectrum of our interests is research related to health and physical activity in transportation.
