Biography

I am a general nurse, midwife and public health nurse. I was awarded a Research Training Fellowship by the Health Research Board (2013-2016) to explore the nature and impact of concealed pregnancy. My research interests lie in maternal and child health, vulnerable populations, community and primary healthcare and concealed pregnancy.

Outreach

  • I am currently a member of @CA18211 On birth related trauma and am Chair of the International Training School Committee. I am a committee member of the Health Fusion Team Challenge working on inter-professional education which hosts an annual interprofessional competition nationally. I was a committee member of a ULCommunity Education Group working with the Regneration Area of St Mary's Parish. The C Well Project is aimed at building capacity around health and lifeskills through education 2012-2013 and was identified as a Campus Engage exemplar of good practice.
