About the School

The School of Architecture and Product Design is home to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and research activities in the areas of Architecture, Product Design, Design Research, Human Factors and Digital Fabrication.

The School’s collaborative approach to design education produces graduates who understand that their work is for and about people.  It enhances the spaces in which people live and work, and the products, services and systems they use in their everyday lives.

The School of Architecture and Product Design is the first to combine these disciplines within a university in Ireland.
