Aengus graduated with a BSc in Applied Physics from UL in 2021. He worked for Analog Devices as a Wafer Fabrication Engineer, mainly working with Focused Ion Beam (FIB) and Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) for device development and the investigation of process variations. Aengus is currently pursuing a research masters on the IDBioM project under the supervision of Dr. Christophe Silien, working with confocal laser scanning microscopes and nonlinear optical phenomenon (Coherent Raman Scattering) in pursuit of super-resolution.
