Congratulations Prof Damien Thompson for being officially appointed the Director of SSPC!

Congratulations to Prof Damien Thompson for being appointed as the Director of SSPC, The Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Pharmaceuticals. Damien is Professor of Molecular Modelling at the Physics Department, University of Limerick leading the predictive materials modelling group at SSPC and the Bernal Institute at UL. He has had multiple novel ideas and breakthroughs in research highlighted globally. His research focus is in the area of modelling and design of nano-structured materials for health and sustainability.
