It was an incredible night for UL graduates at the recent Lean Business Ireland Awards, held in Croke Park, Dublin on the 29th September 2022.
Designed to recognise and celebrate such achievements in excellence in Irish-based organisations, the awards aim to position Ireland as the recognised centre of lean & enterprise excellence globally and this award ceremony will help to showcase how companies are working towards enterprise excellence in Ireland, striving for competitiveness.
With UL apprenticeship companies nominated in every sector, winners included Goda Zvikaite, Penn Engineering, one of the first graduates from UL’s Lean Sigma Masters apprenticeship who won in the category of best contribution to knowledge for her project on End-user Demand Driven Pull System Implementation in Cold Forming Department.
Another graduate Conor Baxter from Mannok picked up the award for lean champion with his project Embedding an Improvement Culture through operational Excellence.
Congratulations to all winners on the night.
