Balancing volunteering with academic and work responsibilities is an impressive accomplishment. We are grateful for your contributions and proud of your dedication. We congratulate all of today’s award recipients.
The Faculty of Education and Health Sciences (EHS) is committed to advancing the wellbeing of people by fostering a spirit of community engagement, promoting excellence in education, and addressing important social challenges. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, equality, and inclusion, we equip students with the skills, compassion, and ethical integrity needed to make a positive impact both locally and globally.
Our core mission is to graduate excellent scientists, educators, and healthcare professionals prepared to address real-world challenges. We foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment, with dignity, kindness, and respect central to everything we do. The President's Volunteer Award (PVA) reflects this and gives our students the opportunity to contribute their knowledge to the communities we serve.
Today, we recognise the achievements of 306 EHS students for their dedication to volunteering across a broad range of initiatives. Their contributions demonstrate our commitment to creating supportive environments where people can succeed by working together and showing compassion.
These initiatives illustrate the strong tradition of volunteerism within our faculty, where students, through excellence, innovation, and a commitment to ethical standards, make a significant contribution to society.
Balancing volunteering with academic and work responsibilities is an impressive accomplishment. We are grateful for your contributions and proud of your dedication. We congratulate all of today’s award recipients.
