Dear Student Volunteers, 

On behalf of over 19,000 students here at University of Limerick. I want to congratulate all of you who are receiving the President’s Volunteer Award for the 2023/2024 Academic year. I am so proud of our students who used their free time to come together as a community to volunteer. For this, I commend you. You are a credit to yourselves, your friends and family and the whole University of Limerick community.

I am proud to see my fellow students giving back to a variety of communities; offering additional help and furthering the expansion of services to those that need it the most.

I received two gold Presidents Volunteer awards for my work as a Class representative and as the UL Student-Life Events Chairperson, which helped me get into the position I am in today.

Congratulations to you all. Your achievements deserve to be recognised and celebrated. I wish you all the best of luck in the future.
