Dia duit a chara,
You are part of a national movement of students all over Ireland that are committed to the impact of volunteering. You are a dedicated person that has given your time to a community of the campus, in the local area of Limerick and with community groups all over Ireland. Your contribution is two-fold as you have been building your life skills while also enhancing those around you through education, disability, sport, arts and culture, health and environment projects. Over 23,000 students have logged on StudentVolunteer.ie and been part of 2,000 non-profit and charity-based volunteering programmes. It is important that we take this opportunity to highlight how you are part of this incredible effort. You are part of an energy that is uplifting and inspiring! Student volunteers are a powerful force and we create change in our communities every day - change within ourselves and for others. As Michelle Obama shared about her work empowering young people of Chicago to volunteer in their communities, "no matter what our age or background or walk of life- each of us has something to contribute to the life of this nation." You have contributed, you have given to others and enhanced yourself along the volunteer journey as a President's Volunteer Award Recipient - Comhghairdeachas.
