Joanne Foster – Executive Administrator 

Joanne Foster is the Executive Administrator in the Transferable Skills Unit at the University of Limerick, bringing almost 20 years of experience in the higher education sector to the role. After starting her career in private industry recruitment and customer service, Joanne joined the University of Limerick in 2006.  She has since amassed extensive experience across several academic departments and administrative divisions. 

Joanne’s broad experience gives her valuable insight into the University’s operations, and she is committed to facilitating seamless connections between students, staff, and external academic and industry partners. Joanne’s focus is on supporting academic programmes, coordinating projects, and building strong stakeholder relationships. 

Joanne holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Mary Immaculate College and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Limerick
