What are Intelligent Agents?
Intelligent Agents (IAs) automatically interact with learner based criteria in your course. If the criteria are fulfilled, the IA can send an email alert to both you and the learner. You can accomplish this by using specific email addresses or by using replace strings.
Intelligent Agents use some unique criteria such as:

Login Activity: The agent will activate if learners haven’t logged into the Learning Environment for a prescribed period of time.

Course Activity: The agent will activate if learners haven’t accessed your course for a prescribed period of time.

Release Conditions: (Link) The agent will activate if learners meet the conditions of a specified release condition in your course.
Why would I use them?

To Monitor Course Activity: Get notified if learners have not accessed your course for a specified period of time.

To Monitor Course Completion: Get an alert when learners meet the criteria to unlock specific release conditions.
