This week is Geography Awareness Week and across the world, university geography departments, bodies and organisations, will celebrate the discipline. This year’s theme is the ‘Power of Place’ and UL Geography is holding a series of events open to staff, students and the public.

• Campus Scavenger Hunt – Tues 14th-Fri 17th Nov. Prizes to be won! Information on how to take part will be shared on Monday but you might wish to think now about how you’d like to team up with – min. of 2 and max. of 4 persons per team.

• Geography themed Makerspace, Glucksman Library – 11-1pm on 14th, 15th and 16th Nov.

River Lunchtime Walk

Thursday, November 16, 1-2pm, meeting at Kilmurry Beach.
