We would like to invite TY students to apply to attend our TY Law Day which will take place on campus on 21 May 2024 from 10am to 3.30pm. Attendees will learn more about the study of law from lecturers and students, attend taster lectures, get a tour of the campus and experience a moot court.
Places are limited to four students per school however all students are welcome to apply particularly those who might not have previously thought about studying law.
The deadline for applications is 4pm, 1 May 2024.
How to apply
Applicants should complete the application form by 4pm on the 1st May. Applicants will be asked some questions about the study of law as outlined below. Successful applicants will be selected based on their answers to these three questions.
Question 1
Some of your skills and traits might indicate that you could be well-suited for the study of law, even if you haven’t previously considered it. These include a passion for reading, independence, effective communication skills, a keen sense of justice, and an interest in human rights and social issues. Do you have any of these traits or interests? Please explain

What interests you most about the study of law?
Question 3
Name three possible careers or job titles open to law graduates?
Applicants will be notified whether or not they have been successful on the 8th May and the taster day will take place on the 21st May from 10am to 3.30pm.
