Dr Lydia Bracken Gives Evidence to Special Joint Oireachtas Committee on International Surrogacy

On Thursday 28 April 2022, Dr Lydia Bracken was invited to give evidence to the Special Joint Oireachtas Committee on International Surrogacy on the topic of ‘the particular issues faced by same sex couples, both male and female, entering international surrogacy arrangements and achieving parental recognition.’ Representatives from Irish Gay Dads also gave evidence as part of this session. The Special Committee has been established to ‘consider and make recommendations on measures to address issues arising from international surrogacy.’
