The main purpose of the Audio Visual (AV) Enhancement Projects is to upgrade and install necessary AV technology into designated Rooms and Teaching spaces to significantly enhance the staff and student experience through improved technology and facilities. Audio-Visual technology plays a critical role in the transformation of teaching and meeting spaces and is delivering quality online collaboration, inclusivity, and effective learning and meeting experiences.

What does it mean for the UL community?

Designated Rooms and teaching spaces which have been identified to have equipment which is either end of life or not sufficient to cater for Staff and student’s needs, will be fitted with the latest Audio-visual technology which will standardise equipment and support across the university and enhance the Audio & Video conferencing experience for users.

The upgrading of these rooms will ensure that the same quality standard for equipment the university is providing for teaching and meetings is upheld across the campus and that users are enabled to use the equipment successfully.
