During UL’s research week, Professor Dunne and Dr O’Sullivan were acknowledged for their inventions relating to peri-operative monitoring of anaesthesia. Recognising inventions filed with the university’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO) in 2023, Professor Dunne accepted the “Best Commercial Potential” and “Best Overall” awards on behalf of the team which comprises translational researchers, engineering, surgery and anatomy. These innovations are being progressed with support of the UL TTO.
