Physical Activity for Health: How much is enough, how every move counts and how to ‘Get UL More Active’
Regular engagement in physical activity has been shown to have many benefits for our health and wellbeing. Yet, few individuals manage to build enough physical activity into their everyday lives for health promotion and disease prevention.
Catherine will share information from Healthy UL on staff and student physical activity levels, on factors identified as motivations or barriers to participation in physical activity in UL. She will also present current physical activity recommendations showing that every move counts and provide examples of innovative ways to increase your daily minutes of physical activity.
