We are delighted to invite you to the launch of JointPain.ie, a vital new educational resource for individuals experiencing joint pain in Ireland. This launch coincides with National Arthritis Week (31st March - 6th April), highlighting the timely importance of this initiative.
JointPain.ie has been meticulously co-designed by Dr Clodagh Toomey and Dr Helen O’Leary, academics from the School of Allied Health at the University of Limerick, in collaboration with experts, researchers, clinicians, and, crucially, people living with joint pain. This partnership addresses a significant gap in current Irish healthcare provision, offering accessible and comprehensive information.
The development of JointPain.ie was made possible through a Health Research Board Knowledge Translation Award, and we are grateful for the support of Arthritis Ireland and the HSE National Clinical Programme for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
