HRI Ageing Research Centre members shortlisted for the Irish Healthcare Awards

We're delighted to announce that two of our esteemed colleagues from the Ageing Research Centre (ARC) have been shortlisted for the prestigious Irish Healthcare Awards.

Christina Hayes has been nominated for the 'Best OPD Initiative' award for her pioneering work on integrated care for the 'new old': Maximising the potential of community-based MDT teams'. Her innovative approach has significantly improved the quality of life for many older individuals.

Dr Aoife Leahy is a finalist in the 'Best Research Paper' category for her groundbreaking SOLAR RCT study. This research has made a valuable contribution to the field of ageing and healthcare.

We are incredibly proud of Christina and Aoife's achievements and wish them both the best of luck at the awards ceremony.
