HRI Member Clodagh Toomey was the author of the most- read article in the Irish Independent on September 6^th!

In her article, Clodagh writes about managing osteoarthritis in order to avoid the ‘last resort’ option, meaning surgery, and explains how practical, actionable measures such as regular exercise and weight management can improve the condition.

Clodagh then hosted a webinar on Thursday September 8th with Dr Helen French, from the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, debunking the common myths surrounding osteoarthritis.

Clodagh’s research is paving the way to enable osteoarthritis patients to take their condition safely into their own hands and learn to manage it better.
