HRI Members, Prof. Aedín Culhane (pictured top Left) Professor of Cancer Genomics, School of Medicine, University of Limerick, and Prof. Alice Coffey (pictured top right), Dept of Nursing and Midwifery both won award at the North-South Research programme, a collaborative scheme through the Government’s Shared Island Fund.
Aedín led the All Island Research Hub for Federated Analysis of Cancer Data, which works to harmonise cancer data on the island of Ireland to a health global standard.
Alice led the DelHPIre (Delirium Health Professionals Ireland) with the aim to improve prevention, recognition and management of delirium across the island of Ireland through the co-design of an interdisciplinary digital resource for undergraduate healthcare students.
