Miriam is the Health Sciences Academy Manager, working with University of Limerick, UL Hospitals Group and Mid-West Community Healthcare to bring research, education and innovation closer to clinical practice.

There are a variety of projects in the Health Sciences Academy under its three work streams- Equality & Inclusion, Clinical Practice Integration ad Research & Innovation, all collaborative in nature and relevant to the region.

Miriam has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, graduating with a degree in Physiotherapy, extensive clinical career and then a very successful transition to management roles, incorporating change and project management. She is also a Professional Executive & Personal Coach.

She is passionate about effective engagement strategies, communication excellence, patient participation and quality improvement.
