Sarah graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA (Hons) in Languages, Literature and Film. She then went on to France where she completed a Research Masters in Literature at Jean Moulin University in Lyon. Sarah returned to Ireland where she spent three years working in the private industry before returning to University of Limerick in 2020 as an Administrator.

Sarah has since completed two Postgraduate Certificates in Change Leadership with TUS and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion with UL. Sarah is currently undertaking another Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Marketing and Analytics with TUS.

Sarah, who joined the HRI as an administrator, has been successful in acquiring a new role within the HRI as a Senior Administrator for the Health Research Institute. This role includes managing the membership process, internal funding calls, and project and event communications. She launched our monthly member newsletter as well as other media campaigns such as HRI Women in Research campaign in 2023 to mark International Women's Day.

Sarah was the project manager of the HRI Annual Report 2022 and Strategy 2023-2028 documents and their respective launch events.
