Yes you can, as long as the library has a subscription to the resource you should be able to access it via Google Scholar.

  • You will firstly need to set up University of Limerick Library as your institutional library in the settings in Google Scholar (Go to settings and then Library Links), and add "University of Limerick View it @ UL Library"
  • Once you have set up University of Limerick as your library, the Option "View it @ UL Library" will appear when you do a search beside content the library subscribes to.
  • Once you select this link you will be prompted to login
  • Login with your valid UL computer account.

* Occasionally you may have to re-add the University of Limerick as your library in the setting in Google Scholar, particularly when using a mobile device in different locations.

* Sometimes there can be a problem with the indexing on Google Scholar which can take several days to resolve, the resolution of this is outside the library's control.
